Description

The fifth HOMTech training school, titled, “Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” will be held at Friedrich-Alexander-Universitaet Erlangen-Nuernberg, FAU in Erlangen, Germany. Focusing on the transferable skills of entrepreneurship and innovation, the training covers entrepreneurship, linking technological inventions and applications to commercialization. The DCs will individually prepare a business case within HOM technologies, and present these cases related to their individual PhD project. In the course, the DCs will learn to identify business opportunities in industrial and research challenges, and better understand IPR, hearing from IPR professionals. The first day is a networking session combined with the HOMTech Mid-Term Workshop, where all students will present their project and business plan to each other, and hold discussions with valuable feedback from their peers and lecturers and PIs involved at the SS5.
